Yes it does.Does V allow you to search for files with specific content within archive or Zip files?
There is a "Search Inside Archives" option which will search all supported archives (ZIP, RAR, CAB, TAR, GZip, BZip2).
Note that ZIP files inside ZIP files will not be searched - nor will ZIP files that are password protected.
