Cannot Create Compress Folder

Went to folder, right clicked, selected send to compressed folder, got this message
Compressed (zipped) Folders

Windows cannot create the Compressed (zipped) folder here.
Do you want it to be placed on the desktop instead
Yes/No

What does this mean? I used to be able to do this.

My guess is that you do not have permission to create the zip file in that folder. Is it a Windows system folder?

Try using Windows Explorer to see if you get the same message.

You will either have to run V "As Administrator" or create the zip file in a different folder and then move it to the folder you want (you will receive a UAC popup when doing the move).
