What's New in Version 16?

Version 16 of The V File Viewer can now be downloaded from the Download page.

Per Monitor DPI Support

Version 16 is now Per-monitor DPI-aware (must be running Windows 10 Creators Update 1703 and above). This means that V will automatically adjust itself when moving between monitors with different scaling.

CSV Mode

  • You can now Shift+click on the CSV column header to select the entire column
  • Copy CSV command to copy CSV columns (with delimiter) to clipboard
  • Force CSV can now specify a start line (ie, you can ignore the first few lines)

    • Removed support for Windows XP and Windows 2000

    V no longer runs on Windows XP and Windows 2000. You must use V15 if you want to install on these operating systems.
