Hi, I have a suggestion.

How about implementing V in Explorer, so that when you right-click a file, you get a viewing option (hex or text mode) in the pop-up menu?

You can add an Open with V option to the Explorer menu by enabling Add Explorer Context Menus for ALL files in the Setup section of the V preferences (although you cannot add a separate hex/text option).
