Hello -- Is there an option or setting to have V prompt for a userid/password when traversing into a network share?

When I do this via "my network places" (xp) it will prompt me for a userid/password when I select a share that requires it

No, unfortunately there isn't.

If you want to access such folders, you will have to first authorize yourself using Windows Explorer - you should then be able to access the share in V.

I will try do something about this in a future version.

thanks for the reply ... as noted that is what I am doing ... once I entered the password, V works fine
