Hello --

With the MS explorer if I type on the command line

\\server

the explorer will look for a computer on the (home) network call "server" -- if it exists it will try to display shared info and it might prompt for a userid/password to that system

with V -- I generally get a message "invalid path" --

Can V behave like MS Explorer?

I hope to do this in the next release (V15) which will be available by the end of the year.

I will send you a beta version to try when it is available.
