Trial limitations

I'm interested in using the V File Viewer as my new file manager. However, my primary use of a file manager is to manage 4Dos descriptions. Unfortunately, I can't evaluate how useful V is at managing descriptions, because the evaluation version disables description editing. Is there any chance that in future versions of V the time-limited version could be fully functional so I could really evaluate it?
