Hello -- window's explorer lets me type in the path box a network share name, ie
\\foobar
and if found, it will display the share available --- I think that it will also prompt for user/password if needed --
can this be added to V?

Re: refreshing "network"
Yes,
When I open up "computer" (win7) and select "network" (lower left side of the windows) I can see a green progress bar as it refreshed the nodes in the workgroup
F5 did not seem to have any effect

refreshing "network"
Hello --
I use "v" to take a quick view on my home network shares - but the "network" entry does not see to have all the nodes in the network. Is there a way to
refresh this entry?
Thanks

prompt for password
Hello -- Is there an option or setting to have V prompt for a userid/password when traversing into a network share?
When I do this via "my network places" (xp) it will prompt me for a userid/password when I select a share that requires it
Thanks
fpe

Re: replacing (ms) explorer
Hello --
Thanks for the info and insight --- I am not sure how powerdesk does this -- if its a hack by changing explorer.exe with something else
but if a registry setting. would the change then be ok?
