I will give the keyboard shortcuts a try.
Thanks for the quick response.

Context menu customize
I was wondering how complex it would be to allow a bit of customization of the context menu that pops up when you right click in V. I know you already have it for directories and file text. For some reason when I use it I seem to to have a blind spot for the execute/run and a couple of others that I...

Re: Highlight All with Regex
I think normally when using PCRE the Regex defaults to case sensitive, and if you want it insensitive you have to give it a /i toggle when feeding it the Regex string. However, I notice when searching for the T when using Regex it finds both. I don't know how it's implemented in V. Perhaps have the ...

Re: Highlight All with Regex
Simple example: Open a view of a text file containing a few 2+ digit numbers and a few words with the letter T Search for T with Highlight All checked - T is highlighted . Check the Regex box, hit refresh, T still higlighted Check Case , hit refresh, highlight gone Turn off Case , hit refresh, no hi...

Highlight All with Regex
When using the Highlight All option when searching a document I find it works flawlessly except when the Regex option is checked. Then it works sometimes and not others; often when refresh is hit all matches disappear and then never highlight again until Regex is turned off and refresh is hit again....

Drag to zip file
I think V is a great utility and I use it as a replacement for Windows Explorer. One thing I would like to do is drag a file to a zip file and have it be added to the zip. I can't seem to find anything in the help or forum on this; all drag and drop info revolves around dragging files to V. Is there...

Minor change to header/footer date
I have a suggestion regarding printing dates in the header or footer of V. Right now if you select %d for the date it print the format dd/mm/yyyy. I find the dd/mm portion can be confusing when the day is less than the 12th ( e.g 02/05 - is that May 2 or Feb 5). I know each country is supposed to pu...

Re: How to refresh thumbnails
Thanks Charles,
That seems to do the trick.
I guess the editing software I was using was not updating the embedded thumbnails as you suggest.

How to refresh thumbnails
I have been editing JPEG images, but I open V and the thumbnails don't reflect the changes. I checked with the help file and it says that these are not cached, but it also mentions that in version 8 they won't be cached depending on user feedback. I am using version 13 so don't know if this is just ...

V crashes when opening blank library - Win7
I have found a glitch when using V in Windows 7. It crashes immediately every time. I found the bug only shows up if dealing with a blank library. Here's how to re-create my bug. In Windows 7, right click on Libraries and create a new library, but DON'T link it to any folder . Now start V. In the fo...
